Job description / Role

Job Responsibilities
• UAE Customs Procedures: Understanding customs clearance, registration, and use of online platforms like Dubai Trade and Federal Customs Authority (FCA).
• Documentation: Proficiency in preparing key documents like Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading (BL), Certificate of Origin (COO), and HS Codes.
• Trade Compliance: Knowledge of UAE laws, restricted/prohibited items, and obtainingpermits (e.g., Ministry of Health, MOIAT, Food Control Authority).
• Shipping & Logistics: Coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport companies for shipments.
• Import Duties & VAT: Understanding of customs duties and VAT on imports and handling related exemptions.
• ERP & Portals: Proficiency in systems like, Tally, Zoho, and UAE Trade & Customs portals.
• Bank & Payment Docs: Experience with Letters of Credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfers (TT), and Cash Against Documents (CAD).

• Experience: 3–5 years in import/export operations in UAE
• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field
• Product & Market Knowledge: Familiarity with traded goods and regulations of target markets.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 5,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
