About the role

The UAE in-store success team at Tabby manages the performance of Tabby's 30,000+ in-store partners, ensuring existing partners are performing up to their maximum potential as well as adding new partners to the network.

This role is a mix of operations and sales. You will be responsible for maintaining a certain level of Tabby presence within a specific city. You will also be tasked with onboarding new merchants from your city to the Tabby network. This role will require you to be flexible, quick, and able to take full accountability for your managed portfolio and tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Tabby products and services
  • Guide partners on Tabby products and services/features
  • Manage in-store verticals' health, metrics and performance end-to-end
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of deals and meet quarterly sales targets
  • Monitor store performance and provide insights and initiatives for growth
  • Be the voice of merchants within Tabby
  • Drive day-to-day engagement with merchants and manage their regular business reviews and meetings
  • Do regular sanity checks on the store and deliver the needed products and training
  • Enhance the onboarding process for new stores and key accounts
  • Generally able to use different business tools (Google Sheets, Slack, Pipedrive, etc.)

Skills, knowledge & expertise

  • A good communicator (both verbal and written) and demonstrates the ability to present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in in-person sales and offline retail partner acquisition, preferably with meaningful exposure when working with SME clients
  • Prior knowledge and/or exposure to financial/payment products
  • Great with people and comfortable working across different people groups
  • Quick on your feet and able to customize solutions for each of our partners, depending on their circumstances
  • Structured in your thinking, organized in your planning, with the ability to execute and adjust your plan accordingly
  • Flexible in your approach and able to switch priorities and shift plans according to different circumstances
  • Able to work closely with cross-functional teams internally: marketing, product, business, operations, etc.
  • A people person who isn't afraid to be a leader, coach and/or advisor to different partner teams
  • Valid UAE driving license and car, willing to commute to Dubai if needed
  • Priority will be given to candidates who are based in Abu Dhabi and have work experience in Abu Dhabi
