Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Main purpose of the job is ensuring supply and availability of materials at the right time in right quantities to fulfill the required production plans considering the planning parameters at the most cost-effective way. In this role you will manage all the transactional process and documents for procurement and day-to-day claims.

A day in the life of

- Cost & Service: Place orders with suppliers with the agreed lead-time and provide short term forecast to call off Raw and Packaging Material in the agreed stock level policies. Ensure documents on time to clear the shipments form Port and QA release
- Inventory: Ensure accuracy of planning master data are reflecting correctly in the system and driving improvements. Drive raw, pack inventory optimization, and improve working capital and Supply Chain costs. Develop and execute inventory strategy for Raw and Pack Optimization
- Service: Ensure payment to supplier on time with timely resolution of disputes. Ensure Good Receipt, Invoice Receipt, Parked and Blocked Invoice issues are resolved in time for on time payment to suppliers
- Cost, Service and Process Compliance: Ensure material availability of materials in line with constrained production plans and take appropriate action to ensure materials can be issued to production.
- Ensure alignment on issues and risk through Weekly Production Reviews, Monthly Production Review, and other Operational Reviews.
- Drive improvements in internal and cross-functional processes to ensure free flow of materials and information. Ensure compliance to audit points and guidelines.
- Provide weekly alerts on critical (High/Low) stock cover, potential write off.
- Service & Supplier collaborative planning: Drive improvement on Supplier Service Levels Performance by collaborating with suppliers and ensuring shipments for orders placed are on time, in full and with the right quality
- Service: Work on innovation/renovation project teams to ensure materials are available on time to launch/relaunch of new products
- Cost: Ensuring materials called off are in line with the remaining shelf life upon consumption and avoid any potential write offs.

Requirements

What will make you successful

- Minimum 1-year operational experience in one of the following areas: Logistics, Warehousing, 3PL, Transportation
- Good knowledge on MS Office and Presentation Skills
- Good communication skills, Proactivity, and ability to collaborate internally and externally
- Power BI knowledge is beneficial
- Basic understanding of Consumer & Customer needs
- Ability to challenge the current status quo & drive continuous improvements
- Ability to proactively look at details and trigger issues and opportunities
- Understanding of Lean Value Stream would be an advantage
- Understanding of planning and inventory concepts would be beneficial
- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree
- Prior operational experience in Logistics, Warehousing, 3PL, Transportation
