Job description / Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Income Auditor to join our amazing team in UAE. This pivotal role involves auditing and verifying all revenue transactions accurately and ensuring tally of trial balance. You will be responsible for recording the transactions and preparing daily and monthly sales and other necessary reports for management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily audits of revenue transactions across all outlets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies and investigate variances in income-related accounts.
• Reviewing Budget and Sun system figures for MTD/Last Year previous month and current month
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly and monthly financial reports for management review.
• Reconcile income accounts and verify the accuracy of cash receipts, credit card transactions and the other payment methods.
• Preparation and Monitoring Credit card Refund Control report with Bank report and submitting it to respective outlets.
• Collaborate with various outlets to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in development and implementation of internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.
• Stay up-to date with the accounting standards, tax regulations and industry practices.
• Reconciliation of service charge and Municipality Fees break down.
• Participate in month-end closing procedures and support external audits as needed.
• Maintaining City Ledger accounts (Debits and Credits).
• Checking Deposit Amount for Events and advance bookings through BEO.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven track record of at least 2-3 years in income auditing or a similar role with proven experience in the hospitality sector.
• Proficiency in Financial management software.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures, and financial reporting standards.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Must have UAE Driving license.
