Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose: To grow the company's network following the sales pipeline management tool. Suspecting and prospecting new BIWS's and negotiating and closing deals in the assigned geography (Abu Dhabi & Al Ain). Managing the accounts and ensuring their orders are placed on time and are delivered as per the delivery promise. Ensure payments are made on time as per the contractual agreement. Work closely with marketing to ensure branding is done on time and collateral's are delivered on time.Discuss and agree on promotional activities to drive traffic to the workshops.

Position description:
- Hunting of new customers and manage them on all levels - commercial, financial, and develop the existing accounts
- Develop and manage all stages of the SPANCOPs to capture the new customers and support the Lubes Business Strategy in defining top/big customers in this sector.
- Business Sales Processes: Implement and maintain the Company’s standardized sales and business management processes in line with the business plan and deliver the sales and profitability plans for the channel.Ensure personal compliance with the company's Manual of Authorities, the Group Business Principles, Values and other relevant policies.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Establish, develop and manage a win-win customer relationships by building and maintaining relationships with key customers at appropriate levels with measured outcomes.Drive the management of customer relationships by; Regular planned visits as agreed with the line manager, Monitoring and Reporting of progress
- Monitor credit receivables to ensure they stay within agreed targets for all customers, Implement the SPANCOP process to generate prospect lists that can be viewed and monitored. Utilize the SPANCOP process to show evidence of targeting new accounts. Convert to new business and measure success of conversion rate.
- Contribute to the overall planning and development of the commercial business by providing recommendations and market intelligence on business, customer, competitor and market issues to the marketing team.
- Assist in identifying new growth opportunities in line with the Lubes BIWS strategic marketing direction.
- Where applicable, leverage marketing sponsorships to network with key sector players. Ensure compliance with the Anti-Competitor laws and other relevant legislation at all times.
- Contribute to effective team communication in all areas of interest (ie. weekly team reviews, market intelligence information etc.)
- Liaise with the Lubes technical delivery team where required to plan and co-ordinate technical resources to maximize value to Shell and the customer.
- Work closely with marketing team to develop the channel and execute the delivery of branding and collateral. In addition to promotional activities to drive traffic to the BIWSs.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications required
- University degree or equivalent with 2 years experience in sales managing a similar channel (workshop/large garages) in the UAE market.
- Understanding of the Automotive lubricants market segment is a must.
- Understand customer management in terms of customer relationship management and customer service management (as opposed to just selling).
- Track record in delivering results and achieving business/sales targets.
- Drive, energetic, self-motivated, high on achievement; result-oriented, able to work under pressure and a clear challenger .
- Demonstrated ability to identify and improve service offerings in line with customers operations and processes.
- Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships and work in a team-orientated environment.
- Strong negotiation skills that support gaining a growing share of the customer’s wallet.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Demonstrates a good knowledge of HSSE standards and practices
- Can communicate in English (writing and/or conversation). Hindi/Urdu is a plus
- Good PC (Excel, Word. Power Point) skills.
