Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

ACQUIRE:
• Develops multi-faceted and market-appropriate lead generation strategies, including digital strategies, that enable the acquisition, retention and development of customers and channel partners, and evaluates the ROI of strategies to refine and evolve new ones
• Use marketing funds to aquire new leads and business and shows clear ROI

RETAIN:
• Implements measurement systems such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) to ensure improvements in customer experience and long term retention
• Develops high wide and deep customer relationships and industry networks

GROW:
• Develops and implements a compelling go-to-market strategy and execution plan, identifying real growth opportunities, gaps in market coverage, and prioritizing or defining high value market/segments and/or channels
• Makes the case for new product/service solution opportunities (with Product Managers), new business models, new partnerships and/or new market strategies based on sound market research, external or competitive benchmarks, technological advances, anticipated market shifts and/or unmet market needs
• Makes the business/financial case for the product/segment by articulating how revenue and market share is developed, and by defining the value proposition(s), target market, barriers, competitive analysis, points of differentiation, and timing
• Links product/service offerings to specific customer needs, articulating compelling value propositions differentiated from competitors, and uses and encourages appropriate selling approaches
• Gives input into pricing strategies and runs price bench-marking initiatives
• Synthesizes complex market and/or customer data and makes it easy to understand

DEVELOP:
• Support key-account planning processes
• Develops and executes a comprehensive strategy for engaging the sales force, through compelling marketing communication and education forums/tools (e.g. websites, presentations, training, technical documentation, sales collateral,), including internal and external customer/partner training, that address product/service and segment promise, value proposition and audience needs, and motivate the sales force to use them to generate new opportunities.
• Becomes an industry advocate for ”solving water” attending forums, networking events, associations

INTEL:
• Demonstrates understanding and insight into competitor products, markets, and strategies, including understanding how competitors are adapting and evolving, and uses insight in go-to-market strategies.
• Actively gathers and ensures “voice-of-customer” (VOC) " is embedded within segment plans
• Demonstrates understanding of the sales context and go-to-market strategy and enables the sales force to succeed: asks question and listens carefully to ascertain sales readiness as well as needs and wants, building trust through proactive interactions
• Produces regular reports for management as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering or business and/or MBA
• A minimum of 8 years experience in marketing and sales, preferably in an engineering environment
• Experience in direct marketing, channel marketing and strategic marketing
• Experience in lead generation strategies, including digital.
• Ability to conceptualize and implement marketing strategies to support business goals
• Experience working in a global business environment
• Capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and interacting with senior management
• Ability to manage multiple projects and achieve deliverables on time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. CRM analysis experience is a plus. Salesforce experience is considered a plus
• Fluent in English (reading & writing). Fluency in Arabic considered a merit
