Job Summary

Provide support to Industry Lead to develop, drive and implement industry initiatives and strategies. The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter, able to influence senior leaders in the firm and have a passion for the Technology, Media and Telecoms industry. Primary duties will include developing thought leadership, leading marketing activities for the TMT industry, developing industry collaterals, managing industry pipeline, managing industry financial reporting, coordination of TMT Middle East practice with other geographies.

Duty and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate industry planning across service lines for the different regions.
- Project manage the multiple projects/ initiatives within the industry program
- Source relevant support across the organization including marketing, communications, events, knowledge management etc.
- Conduct industry market and client analysis when required
- Provide input to the marketing strategy development process by articulating the industry focus
- Maximise PR opportunities that are presented by marketing, including ensuring that spokespeople are available for proactive and reactive media commentary
- Source relevant content for the marketing team to use across all channels with emphasis on digital
- Support key "must win" industry client pursuits
- Coordinate, schedule and manage the industry meetings and forums
- Ensure that the lists of industry responsibilities and contacts across service lines are current
- Develop cross-continent industry management process
- Leverage global industry activities and infrastructure
- Identify local and global eminence topics
- Prepare industry reports for local and global use
- Prepare and analyse industry revenue performance information
- Develop and manage the industry budget and ensure appropriate reporting and flagging of discrepancies.
- Active thought leadership
- Demonstrate eminence in the Firm and marketplace with published points of views, innovative insights and public presentations or appearances.
- Be recognized as a trusted business advisor to high-level client leaders.
- Maintain strong and effective relationships with stakeholders
- Manage customer expectations and delivery deadlines
- Ensure interdependences are understood and managed
- Anticipate and escalate issues before they impact on relationships and the project
- Offer advice and guidance to the best possible marketing solution.
- Client service assessments - meeting with clients to assess how clients experience the Deloitte services quality
- Seek out opportunities to differentiate through innovation and impact

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or other relevant degree
- Previous experience in the TMT industry and eagerness to work in this industry
- Excellent English communication skills: verbal and written
- Excellent Arabic communication skills: verbal and written
- Experience with an International Company
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a project coordinator or in similar position
- Extremely well organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- A self-starter that can work independently and can take charge of the role with minimal supervision
- Excellent client service/stakeholder relationship skills
- A good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ease with Technology (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Exchange)
