Core responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and accurate diagnoses of patients with infectious diseases.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and patient needs.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to manage complex cases.
• Interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory results, and imaging studies to guide patient care.
• Educate patients and families about disease prevention and management strategies.
• Participate in infection control programs to minimize the risk of transmission.
• Engage in clinical research activities to enhance knowledge in infectious diseases.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in infectious diseases required
• Valid and active medical license in the applicable state
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in infectious disease specialty
• Thorough understanding of latest protocols in infectious disease diagnosis and treatment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
