Job description / Role
We are urgently looking for an Information Security Engineer with relevant experience.
Job responsibilities
• Maintain and ensure policies are compliant with regulatory requirements
• Provide project advisory to guide and certify all company projects for internal and external information security and compliance requirements
• Monitor, investigate and document security incidents detected; perform security incident response and root cause analysis,
• Work closely with managed security providers, vendors, information system owners or representatives & infrastructure technical staff to perform incident handling and provide remedial actions
• To provide services to IT & business users in order to ensure systems performance and to improve cyber security measures
• Handle change requests, regular upgrades and provide support on issues relating to all supported security solutions (e.g. endpoint security solutions, logging solution, web proxy, and advanced threat detection systems)
• Deploy security solutions and perform vulnerability assessments to IT assets
• Perform regular governance review on sensitive administrative activities
• Prepare and deliver monthly and ad-hoc security reports
Salary:
AED
12,000 to 28,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
• University Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science or Information System
• Other certifications obtained: CISSP,CISA or related
• Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum 3 year of experience
• Degree in Computer Science or Information System
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in IT security operations environment, technology audit or cyber and information security as a team lead or manager
• Knowledgeable in IT Security incident handling, log management, IT security software and tools
• Strong technical skills in the operating system, network and security technologies
• Certified in CISSP, CISA or related professional qualifications
• In-depth knowledge in IT security services with good project management skill and risk awareness
• Good communication and analytical skills with sound technical and security control process knowledge
• Self-motivated with good leadership, communication and problem solving skills
