Information Security Specialist - E- Payments

Job description / Role

We are supporting a growing Dubai based E-Payments start-up who is seeking an IT security specialist experienced in forensics, incident response and intrusion prevention to join a client of ours based in Dubai.

Working within a growing team for the Dubai office, the IT Security Specialist will work within a broad role tasked with identifying potential threats and attacks to the internal systems while doing forensic analysis and enhancing the overall security monitoring process.

Requirements

This will involve prior experience playing an advisory role within the financial services industry with extensive experience in:

- Forensic analysis, threat identification and incident response
- Ability to make business and technology changes to prevent future threats
- Vulnerability assessment and monitoring of cyber security incidents
- Knowledge in security technology such as firewalls, encryption and anti-malware
- Understanding of information security standards such as PCI-DSS, SOX 404 or ISO 27001

Candidates are expected to have strong background in forensic analysis, scripting technologies and information security risk evaluation. Knowledge of cryptography, understanding of security protocols and encryption are also required.
