Infrastructure Engineer - Civil

Job description / Role

NBHH is currently recruiting for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer - Civil for an immediate start in Dubai.

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deputize for Resident Engineer.
- Follow up construction activities at site.
- Ensure the Contractor’s adherence to Construction documents and latest Authorities’ regulations.
- Review Contractor’s Submissions (shop drawings, Materials, RFI, etc.).
- Provide all necessary on-site direction.
- Support in supervise site inspection staff as per Assistant Resident Engineer/Project Manager directions.
- Check measure of work done.
- Observe site safety practices.
- Report back as necessary to the Resident Engineer.
- Monitor contractor’s resource allocation.
- Review the project’s close out documents.
- Act positively, and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer and project Safety Representative.
- Must comply with safety, health and risk management requirements.
- Have minimum knowledge and skills in using relevant computer software

Requirements

- Degree in Civil Engineering
- 7 to 10 years experience in infrastructure (steel/pipes experience essential)
- Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard work procedures of the industry
- Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
