Job description / Role

Our Client, a leading global organisation, is looking for a Innovation (Research) Specialist to join their team in Dubai. The main purpose of the role is to go beyond just providing data and survey results, you are a creative story teller. This role will require deep dive information analysis, to bring out the relevant details. The ideal candidate will be able to suggest innovative ways to address research and strategic questions and use research to drive the growth of the company’s business objectives. A thought leader and natural communicator, you will work closely with growth and marketing leads to engage with company stakeholders across the global business.
 
The key responsibilities of the role, are as follows:

Analysis
• Lead the planning and implementation of mechanisms, to ensure and monitor research impact, manage the internal and external communication and dissemination of the work;
• Provide business leaders with informative and accurate data to guide the business on optimisation and growth opportunity;
• Deliver fact based, objective views of the business;
• Offer foresight rather than just insight, by proactively identifying consumer and market trends.

Marketing and Business Development
• Support the business in identifying risks and opportunities from the customer perspective, selling and growth;
• Create detailed research analyses focused on the effectiveness of advertising on the company’s marketing platforms;
• Assist in the production of well-thought through and articulate business proposals for expansion and new market entry.

Communication
• Leverage your ability to create partnerships and collaborate with all global teams and external partners to deliver against business needs;
• Design surveys and sampling logic, and manage distribution via internal tools;
• Plan an annual calendar of proposed activities. Review key deliverables, to ensure that research and projects are aligned to the business objectives.

Team Management
• Seek and select a rotational team of highly motivated interns to deliver research materials related to marketing, customer and business development.
• Provide on-going coaching to the interns, take an interest in their studies to ensure that both the interns and the business have a mutually beneficial relationship.

In order to apply for this role, you must have the following:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in qualitative and quantitative methodologies and techniques;
• A minimum of 2 years’ marketing research experience, including data analysis, interpretation, survey design and implementation and report writing;
• Ability to synthesize information and produce insightful and accurate analyses and recommendations;
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously and to function as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment;
• Have a strong understanding of how research contributes to organisational objectives, including understanding of data and practice of knowledge exchange and knowledge utilisation;
• Experience with reporting and dash boards of Cloud Based Software.
• English with at least one European Language – Portuguese, Spanish, German or French highly desired.
