Job description / Role
The position is responsible for leading new business opportunity development, key program management and planning process (3-Year and Annual) for the region. The incumbent will also be managing the execution of key and strategic initiatives identified during the planning process. They will be responsible in looking for new growth opportunities and driving improvements in existing processes to improve sales productivity starting with a large focus on the inside sales program.
Lead the end to end planning, execution and control of all identified/ prioritized strategic programs or initiatives. Focus On Inside Sales
* Collaborate with the different regional leaders in identifying potential opportunities
* Develop opportunities by working with marketing and sales support on processes to work the same - start with Inside Sales Concept
* Develop strategies and implementation plan for the development of these new programs
* Develop "Key Contractor" Support Model working with internal teams for smaller customers
Sales Productivity Initiatives
* Develop and Manage regional SharePoint
* Identify/ Develop New Ideas to automate processes with the aim of increasing "field time" of Sales team
* Assist V.P with managing sales reports by developing reports to track and measure forecast accuracy, delivery to commitments
* Drive development of Strategic Account Database with product profiles, market share, opportunities and tracking
Perform other functions that will be assigned to the person.
Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred or a four-year business course, preferably with MBA & an HVAC related professional qualification
* At least 5 years handling/supervising/managing programs
* Ideally 3 years of analytical work experience in an industrial setting
* At least 2 years related work experience in handling Emerson Climate Products
* Strong experience in project management
* Other qualifications include strong knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures related to the business discipline of the organization.
* Proficiency in the English language
* Proficiency in Microsoft windows based software specifically excel, word, power point, and outlook
* Ability to handle a small group
