Insides Sales / Proposal Engineer (Fire Protection System)

Job description / Role

- Develop and present tailored fire protection system proposals that align with client specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure all designs meet compliance regulations and client needs.
- Manage the proposal lifecycle, from initial client inquiry through to submission and follow-up.
- Engage with clients to understand their fire safety requirements, offering expert advice on system solutions.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in pricing.
- Utilize CAD software to assist in the design and layout of fire protection systems.
- Regularly update management on project progress, client feedback, and market trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in inside sales or proposal engineering within the fire protection industry.
- Familiarity with fire codes and standards, such as NFPA and local regulations, is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and client requirements.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools relevant to fire protection systems.
