Installation Engineer

Job description / Role

The Installation Engineer oversees the installation process for metal works and finishes. You will be responsible for coordinating with project and production managers to develop installation schedules and allocate resources. The role includes leading installation teams to ensure timely project completion, adherence to safety standards, and delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
• Understand project execution requirements and adhere to schedules and deadlines.
• Supervise the installation process for each project.
• Collaborate with the project manager to develop installation schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Manage installation teams and provide guidance to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with the production department to ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements during installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues promptly.
• Conduct post-installation evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• On-time and on-budget completion of installations.
• Adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Client satisfaction with installations.
• Efficient allocation of resources during installations.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical, civil, or a related field.

Experience
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation of metal works or related projects.
• Experience in a multicultural environment.
• Valid UAE driving license.

Skills
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in installation processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
