Instrument Technician

Job description / Role

Responsibilities:

Work includes preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance, etc. for field instrumentation (e.g., conventional, HART and FF protocol, PCV, etc.) as well as control systems (e.g., DCS, ESD, CCC, MCMS, PLC, etc.).
Hands-on experience on field instrumentation troubleshooting and calibration. Examples include control valve, MOVs, on/off valve, PCV, pressure transmitters, flow transmitters, temperature transmitters, level transmitters, switches, vibration probe and system, compressor instrumentation, multipoint thermocouple, etc.
ESD, DCS, and ICS in the OT systems environment - cabinets/consoles visual inspections, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance.
JP role as per WMS requirement.
Support regular ARDS catalyst replacement, project/MOC work as per company requirements.
Follow company HSE standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum education: Diploma in Instrumentation & Control.
Minimum experience: 8 years experience in the installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of a wide range of I & C equipment, preferably in oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
Fair knowledge of English.
