Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an oil and gas EPC. Our client is looking to hire an Instrumentation Engineer. You will prepare basic and detailed instrumentation design, engineering activities for the assigned projects in petrochemical and O&G plants in accordance with the company procedures.
Requirements
Your duties will include assisting with the project design, calculations, sizing and selection of equipment. You will implement requirements including technical integrity, safety in design and sustainable design wherever applicable. In addition, you will liaise with other engineering and technical teams to ensure overall progress. You will also prepare and issue RFQs, evaluation of vendors quotations, clarifications, documents and technical bid analysis. You will perform engineering and application of various instruments, F&G, Analysers including programming knowledge on DCS, PLC, SIS, HMU and SCADA/RTU.
The successful candidate should possess a bachelors Degree in electronics /instrumentation engineering. You should have a minimum of 5 years experience in natural gas processing and compression packaging industry. In addition, you should have hands on experience of AutoCAD and be conversant with engineering codes such as IEC, ATEX, CSA, SHEll DEP and API. Since the office is based in UAE, travel to remote sites will be required monthly.
