Are you an Insurance Advisor?
A highly reputable Dubai based insurance brokerage is hiring several Insurance Advisors, preferably with good all-round experience, excellent telephone manner and without a doubt, the appetite to advise clients’ regarding various types of insurances.
It is expected that some knowledge and experience of the insurance industry will allow the Insurance Advisors to work with minimal direction or oversight. An Advisor should be capable of listening carefully to the client, offer timely service and accurate recommendations to what matters most to the customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discuss a customer’s need, requirement or their concerns to understand, advise and then present a suitable solution with quotes to close the sale, on data/leads provided
- Assist clients with renewing or making claims on existing polices and anything else which relates to issuance of a new policy
- Evaluate and assess the risk prior to sending out proposals
- Prepare monthly reports for Management review and analysis
- Initiate and organize all records both, manual and computerized to ensure a smooth flow of work
- Be fully informed on all matters relating to data processing and, information relating to other types of businesses handled by the company
- Must keep a diary of all/any events in progress
Requirements
- Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills
- Fluent English speaker
- Degree-level education
- Experience within the insurance, financial services or similar background is highly advantageous
- Outgoing lively personality, able and willing to spot opportunities and get involved
- Self-reliant and self-motivated individual, able to work under minimal supervision
- Proactive with business solutions
- Capable of adapting to change
- Able to work under pressure
- Strong coordination and collaboration skills (team player)
- Possess the values of empathy and resilience
- Customer centric personality

Excellent remuneration between AED 3,000 to AED 5,500, dependent on experience (plus commissions). Medical cover and Visa
