Are you an experienced hospitality interior designer looking for the next step in your career?
We are looking for an experienced luxury hospitality designer to join our clients an award-winning design studio in Dubai. Due to a large increase in work and the firm’s future vision they require an individual to join the team to manage the team, lead their own projects and bring fresh ideas to the table.
For this position, they are open to individuals who are currently at Director level looking for a change or Seniors looking for the next step in their career.
Working hours:
• 8.30 AM – 5.30 PM
• Monday to Friday
The successful Interior Design Director will offered:
• 30,000 – 40,000 AED
• Flights
• Working visa
• Medical insurance
• Team events
Duties of the Interior Design Director will include but will not be limited to:
• Developing creative and innovative design concepts for luxury hospitality projects both internationally and within the UAE.
• Managing and developing the internal team
• Understand project requirements and develop design solutions that meet the client’s needs and exceed their expectations.
• Oversee the design process from concept development through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with architects and suppliers
• Prepare and present design concepts to the client
• Provide design direction and guidance to the team, ensuring that all designs align with the project brief and brand standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of projects and ensure that design intent is being realized during the construction phase.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and integrate new design technologies and materials into project designs.
Requirements:
• Luxury / high-end hospitality experience is essential
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience within interior design
• Proficient in developing and visualizing design concepts using various tools and techniques
• Dubai or GCC project experience is not essential to be considered for this position – but would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to clients
• Ability to work effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field
Salary:
AED
30,000 to 40,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
