Interior Designer

Job description / Role

- Develop initial ideas and acquiring key information about potential projects, discussing requirements in detail with clients (the brief) and setting project schedules.
- Understand individual clients' needs and the needs of the people using the building, developing design concepts in consultation with the client and establishing final briefs.
- Consider materials and costs according to set budgets and negotiating project fees.
- Research and gather information and photographs relating to the project.
- Advise customer/ Sales team officials on interior design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment and colour coordination.
- Formulate environmental plan to be practical, aesthetic and conducive to intended purposes, such as raising productivity or selling merchandise.
- Design interior perspectives with full presentation (tile selection/ combination for walls & floors).
- Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes, using computer-aided design (CAD) software and 3D Max;
- Render design ideas in form of paste-ups or drawings;
- Site Supervision;
- Work in a team with other designers;
- Keep upto date with trends and legal requirements in interior design

Requirements

- Should have Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Interior Designer .
- Must be experienced in developing plans and designing interiors of residential and commercial buildings.
- Experience in space planning, layout, utilization of furnishings and equipment and color coordination is required as well.

SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- AutoCAD , 3D Max and Photoshop
