Job description / Role
Reporting to: Head - Interior Designer
Main responsibilities:
• Sketch preliminary design plans
• Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures
• Prepare final plans, using computer applications
• Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs
• Place orders for materials and oversee installing the design elements (if required)
• Provide subject matter expertise to the project to achieve time, cost, quality and safety objectives
• Check and ensure co-ordination between discipline-related services works and all other disciplines
• Above-mentioned are the only some of the responsibilities of this role and are not limited to the same

Duration: Permanent
Probation: 6 months
Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 08.30 to 17.30
Travel requirements: Occasional travel may be required

Requirements
• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in the related discipline
• Total experience of 5+ years with at least 3+ years in a similar role
Strong knowledge of the following software(s):
• 3D Studio Max
• Vray
• AutoCad
• Revit
• Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
Soft Skills and Personality traits:
• Demonstrated knowledge of specific discipline techniques, procedure, codes of practice and relevant international standards
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive client relationship and professional firm image
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
Language Fluency: English
