Job description / Role
The responsibilities of the senior interior designer, will include coordinating the internal design team for a project as well as preparing and developing drawings, models, images, and materials related to the design. This design preparation includes space planning and overall layout, including architecture and furniture selection, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that work in the space and meet the intended design goals. You explain your ideas and articulate why the concepts work to your team and then present them to the client. Other duties include running the design project on time and budget and making decisions in the best interest of the client and project without letting personal preferences influence your choices. You are expected to comply with company procedures and standards, liaise with the external design team and other organizations as needed, and continue your professional development to stay on the cutting edge of design trends.
Role and Responsibilities
• Create designs, moodboards, both architectural and internal, following the design brief
• Demonstrate detailed mood boards in your portfolio of work, on high-end luxury projects.
• Produce high quality, photo realistic 3D renders.
• Previous experience working on projects from conception through to completion.
• Capability in being design critic to evaluate work done in house or externally.
• Capability in creating ideas and communicating it through architectural sketches.
• Knowledge in contemporary, neo-futuristic and futuristic design styles.
• Able to create and review 3D Models
• Have an in-depth understanding of local authority compliance.
• Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members
• Manage / Update Project Documents
• 3D Model Quantity Extraction
• Experience with Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator) and other relevant software, 3D modelling using SketchUp, 3Ds Max
Requirements
As an Interior Designer you should work with clients to determine initial goals and requirements for the space that they'll be designing. They collaborate on Architects' drawings and engineers' designs and provide colors or furniture choices to create a comfortable environment where people can thrive.
Some of the skills needed to be an excellent interior designers involves a wide range of capabilities. we require you to have project management skills, communication, teamwork and willingness to follow industry trends.
