Interior Designer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The role involves assisting clients in selecting furniture and interior solutions that meet their functional needs and design preferences. The Interior Designer will work closely with the sales team and clients to develop design concepts, space plans, and presentations that support project success and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their interior design needs and preferences.
- Develop innovative and customized interior design concepts that integrate our furniture products.
- Create detailed design plans, including mood boards, floor plans, and 3D renderings.
- Select appropriate materials, colours, furniture, and accessories that align with client requirements and company standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project execution.
- Stay updated on the latest interior design trends and furniture technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in the furniture or retail industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions and technical skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar tools.
- Excellent understanding of space planning, colour theory, and materials.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage projects efficiently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
