Job description / Role
Seeking an experienced auditor (NOT FINANCE) to work within a university, where the key aim will be to ensure the organization accomplishes its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Responsibilities will include:
* Support on the development of internal audit strategy
* Work to develop and maintain the internal audit policies/procedures/guidelines
* Work with the business to develop relationships that will foster compliance and risk mitigation
* Conduct audits across the university business units
* Maintain and update records
* Make recommendations to the audit committee
* Work with external auditors to conduct independent audits
* Ensure alignment with the university's institutional effectiveness and quality assurance
Requirements
To be suited to the role you will need:
* A relevant Bachelors/Masters or equivalent qualification
* Prior experience within a corporate internal audit position(NOT FINANCE)
* A high level of analytical ability and attention to detail
* Be a high level user of MS excel and be able to adapt easily to new technology
* Experience of quality assurance strategy interpretation and implementation
* Ideally seeking a UAE National for this role
