Charterhouse are managing, for one of our leading client’s within the aviation sector, a search to seek an Internal Auditor of Data Analytics. In line with the company’s growth, their internal audit operation continues to grow and evolve with an ever-changing business and operational platform.
The internal audit department is designed to act as an independent and advisory partner, to ensure the business processes are efficient, cost effective and adding strength to all operational and support functions within the business. The focus of this role shall be heavily geared towards the development of internal controls & governance, with a focus towards, the increasingly apparent technology systems & critical data analytics in place across the organisation. Following group policy and investigation tools, this role will work to test controls and data efficient, to ensure adequate controllership and integrity are in place across all technology points and data management systems. This shall also extend to the testing of outputs, in conjunction with users, to assess data quality and its application within management-based reports for all internal business stakeholders.
The client will look for a professionally qualified Internal Auditor (CIA or CISA) whom is able to also demonstrate a strong grounding within a data-based audit coupled with an exposure to SQL frameworks and data extraction. This role is designed to cross-check technology based tools and business critical data; the successful candidate shall need a competency in working within a data-mining environment and/or IT based internal audits. Exposure to any aviation organisation shall also be another distinct advantage within the search criterion. In conjunction, candidates shall be expected to possess developed communication and business partnering skills to work internationally across any outstation.
