Job description / Role
Charterhouse are undertaking a search for one of their leading client’s whom are in the process of identifying an Internal Auditor of Information Technology (IT).
This IT Auditor shall take ownership of all Internal Audit related activities and compliance governance across a full range of IT services, platforms and technology upgrades across the organisation. This Auditor shall also be involved in the development of audit programs within the infrastructure, applications, database and cloud services that are hosted within the business both operationally and at a development stage. This coverage will also extend to the audit of any IT processes, along with an oversight of security reviews, within the e-commerce channels and any virtual and/or remote contact points within their operational network.
The client’s industry adheres to very strict risk assessments and this role will focus on both industry and IT Audit best practice and code of ethics. The IT Auditor shall also be expected to manage the audit program whilst providing strong, concise and proactive findings to ensure the development and enhancement of and IT controls and governance within group audit.
The client will look to recruit a professionally qualified Internal Auditor whom in conjunction is able to demonstrate a strong track within IT related audit practice from within a consultancy and/or corporate-based environment. On top of this, the client will have a mandatory requirement for applicants to hold a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification; to ensure a technical ability within the IT systems space.
The client will also look for a candidate whom is able to deliver an understanding of new and “cutting edge” technologies and systems to ensure that the audit processes are relevant, up-to-date and aligned to the required customer interfaces. This role and the department fit will require candidates, whom are able to display up to 5 years of experience, within the required audit field and practice.
