What you will be doing

The Internal Communications Manager has all employees at heart, leads an Internal Comms strategy to ensure transparency across the organization, connecting all verticals and departments to drive one voice, embed our purpose, values and guiding principles and keep employees informed and included in the Business strategy of the Group.

- Contribute to the development of the overall Chalhoub Group Communication Strategy covering People, Business & Brands and Sustainability strategic pillars
- Lead the Internal Communication & Employee engagement strategy development and activation for internal audience (Employees)
- Build relationship and connect internally with key stakeholders to ensure a solid internal communications plan with strategic content, in line with the Group Comms Content Calendar.
- Drive transparency across the organization, streamline and centralize all communication that goes out to employees, with targeted and audience relevant content (Office based or frontliners...).
- Lead all internal communication platforms, including but not limited to Daily newsletter, My Chalhoub, One Chalhoub, and continuously evolve based on data and feedback.
- Be the guardian of Chalhoub Group Brand Identity and Communication standard for all internal use, in alignment with the Communication Content Guidelines for the Group.
- Develop and build a solid employee comms advocacy strategy to contribute to earned media internally and externally for the Group Lead strategy, curate agenda & content and bring to life major Group Internal Events in partnership with all internal Stakeholders (Presidents, Chiefs, all employees).
- Develop thought leadership strategy and content to selected presidents (e.g. People President) and work closely with Group Content and Media Relations Team to bring it to life.
- Lead internal Communications executive to successfully drive an always on, targeted internal communications with a strong balance between People, Business & Brands and Sustainability News.
- Partner with People & Culture to communicate and embed One Team, One Culture across the organization driving the core pillars of Servant Leadership, Diversity & Inclusion, Great Place to Work among others, within a strategic content calendar.

Requirements

What you'll need to succeed

- Experience leading corporate communications for a large scale organization
- Exposure to end to end launch of internal communications
- Previous exposure to working directly with CEO's, Presidents, EVP's, providing thought leadership
- Exposure to working and moderating live events
- Support communications strategy by supporting to curate internal messages, written speeches, communicating to front liners
- Exposure to working with internal stakeholders in UAE and the broader GCC region
- Previous experience contributing to short medium and long term communication strategies.
