The ability to comfortably interact with key departments, combined with excellent time management skills, multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail are essential criteria for this position.<br><br>Responsibilities: <br><br>Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: <br><br><br> - Establish an internal communication strategy.<br> - Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.<br> - Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, monthly magazine, or regular email bulletin. You may also be required to work on the layout of content.<br> - Keep partners abreast of progress and organizational updates.<br> - Use social media to communicate with staff internally.<br> - Create and deliver presentations at organizational events<br> - Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form.<br> - Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization.<br> - Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages.<br> - Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly.<br> - Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation.<br> - Advise senior executives of developments throughout the organization, either face to face or through regular written communication.<br><br>Qualifications <br><br><br> - Minimum 3 years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a hotel environment.<br> - Excellent English written and verbal communication skills required.<br> - Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Database management software.<br> - The successful candidate will be an extremely organized, detail-oriented, professional, and a self-motivated team-player with excellent interpersonal skills. <br> - Must be able to work well under pressure and manage stakeholder expectations of from each property.<br> - University education preferred.<br> - Arabic language and written skills is an asset.<br><br>Skills <br><br><br> - Writing skills: Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the ability to source stories.<br> - Speaking skills: S trong speaking skills as you are likely to be called on to give presentations to staff.<br> - Interpersonal skills: Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills alongside the confidence to deal with senior executives.<br> - Creative skills: Ability to devise communication strategies.<br> - Digital skills : Familiarity with information technology, especially digital and video means of communication, is essential.<br><br>Additional Information <br><br>If you meet the qualifications and are excited about the opportunity to lead Internal Communications in the MEA region, we invite you to submit your application for consideration.
