PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Internal Strategic Consultant supports the Head of Digital Core Sales of EMEA SOUTH in daily managerial and operational tasks focusing on developing and executing the regional go-to-market across SAP's portfolio of Digital Core solutions. The Internal Strategic Consultant is responsible for running transformation programs and cross LoB initiatives to drive continuous growth in the region, defining our competitive advantage specifically focused on accelerated adoption of the SAP Digital Core and catalyzing priority customer engagements, partnerships and new acquisition opportunities in support of the S4 MOVE Program.

The role has a high exposure internally and externally, across all hierarchical levels of the organization.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

- Manage the office of the Head of Digital Core Sales EMEA SOUTH
- Manage transformational programs and projects as part of the DCS go-to-market in EMEA SOUTH
- Oversee and manage business planning processes, mitigate program risks and ensure strategies and related business plans are developed, documented, communicated and implemented for Cloud environments cross industry and customer segment
- Liase with DCS and EMEA S regional Management as well as similar functions / offices in other global units to help deliver on global and cross regional programs and initiatives
- Engage with customers, partners, SAP's Senior Management and other key stakeholders to plan and execute strategic engagements
- Prepare and execute business meetings with different stakeholders and participate in weekly regional / global forecast calls
- Support internal and external operations related to the Head of Digital Core Sales EMEA SOUTH and help resolving internal and external customer inquiries
- Build, tailor, and syndicate content for awareness, demand generation, and opportunity acceleration
- Combine market insights, business objectives, audience insights and intelligence as well as key messages into integrated programs and/or campaigns
- Provide communications consultation to internal and external business partners to support amplification of SAP's message on multiple channels
- Ensure excellent preparation of customer and partner meetings
- Reinforcee enterprise knowledge management through the communication of lessons learned and best practices development.

Requirements

COMPETENCIES:

Within this broad experience framework the ideal candidate has a strong background in corporate and business strategy and will have demonstrated excellent project management skills in a global environment, well experienced in project managing virtual teams without formal authority.

Furthermore the following qualifications are expected:

- Deep process management experience in the areas of business planning and operations
- Successful sales expertise, preferably within SAP
- Proven strategic consulting qualities: create visions and inspire colleagues
- Excellent communications skills, including writing for an executive audience
- Results-oriented: the ideal candidate will identify and meet ambitious performance benchmarks
- Influencing Skills: he/she will be someone who invests in building relationships with others and uses the informal structure and culture of an organization to get things done. This individual will bring people together across organizational boundaries to achieve results as a team and share best practices. This person will also demonstrate the personal flexibility to adapt and compromise when necessary, while actively contributing new innovative thinking to the broader organization
- Experience in System Landscape Optimization with an advanced understanding of SAP system landscape, its products and solutions, partners, markets and competition and S4 migration scenarios
- Solid understanding of key drivers for simplification in S/4HANA by avoiding redundant frameworks, data models, user interfaces and its derived complexity
- Established relationships to corporate development, consulting and sales to orchestrate S4 sales cycles.
- Solid understanding of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS models
- Minimum 8+ years experience working in a strategic role in the relevant business
- University degrees, MBA or equivalent
- Fluent in German and English is a prerequisite
