Reporting to the Director of International Marketing, the hands-on creative Middle East Marketing Specialist we hire for this exciting new position will support Elkay’s international marketing requirements to ensure profitable growth of sales and revenue. The position will be based in our Dubai offices. He/she will provide sales and marketing support to the international team, and will support the execution of the international branding strategic plan to multiple target markets overseas, by performing the following duties:
- Manage and coordinate channel promotions and pull-through campaigns, and set direction for development of channel collateral and merchandising requirements.
- Act as marketing liaison to successfully lead cross functional initiatives, launches, and projects to build sales for international market.
- Communicate new product applications or adaptations to the sales force. Support the development of customer presentations. Plan, coordinate and conduct sales training as assigned.
- Own the Elkay brand for the international market in key social spaces (Facebook, Pinterest, Houzz and Twitter), relating to content creation and customer interaction.
- Coordinate tradeshows, including their planning and successful execution.
- Travel to customers, manufacturing plants, tradeshows, etc. as assigned.
- Provide other sales and marketing support as deemed necessary.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related area required.
- 3 years of experience in a marketing or sales support role required in the UAE. Experience managing and coordinating promotions and pull-through campaigns desired. Prior presentation and sales training experience also desired.
- Ability to absorb information quickly and make decisions with, at times, limited information, critical. Ability to research and secure needed information essential.
- Problem solving, detail and deadline orientation skills a must.
- Ability to work with changing priorities in a fluid environment essential.
- Analytical skills, with an ability to understand business metrics required.
- Excellent collaboration skills essential.
- Project management skills a must. Must be able to persuade and successfully lead through influence.
- Proficiency with the English language required. Proficiency with Arabic desired.
- Ability to travel 10-15% of the time essential.
