Job description / Role
Based in the Dubai office of this globally acclaimed law firm, the International Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for managing all recruitment processes for Associates, Counsel and will also have exposure to Partner recruitment in all offices outside of the USA, with primary focus on Asia and the Middle East. As part of a global recruitment team of five, the role reports to the Associate Director International Recruiting who is based in London and will provide mutual cover with the Recruiting team in the European offices also.
This position requires excellent recruitment knowledge and experience within the legal and /or professional services arena. You will establish and maintain search firm relationships, ensuring competitive terms are signed and assist in reviewing and selecting candidate applications, record, and store applications, and manage the interview process, organizing both in-person and virtual interviews as well as assessments. All administration surrounding the approval and offer process in conjunction with the Associate Director is a large part of the role, managing all the contracts and ensuring all documentation in consistent and compliant with the firm’s policies and the local legal requirements.
The position is also responsible for the onboarding of all attorney hires across the Asia and Middle East Offices and assist with the orientation and first day organisation. There will be liaison with key stakeholders internally and externally to crate and drive diversity initiatives and you will be involved in global projects to improve processes.
Candidates will be independent thinkers, possess native communication skills in English and be able to work in a fast paced environment, handling high volume. You must be a team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Only candidates with the required background of professional services recruitment experience will be considered and those with a law degree / qualification will be at an advantage.
