Job description / Role
We are currently assisting an investment firm based in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking for an International Stock Trader. This a new and a standalone role, reporting directly to the Chairman of the company. For this position, you will have the following responsibilities:
• International stock trading in US, Europe & Fareast Stock markets daily.
• Trade derivatives and underlying securities based on technical analysis of price movement.
• Perform a combination of fundamental and technical analysis to make trading decisions.
• Identify key economic factors based on fundamental & technical analysis.
• Trade equities strictly using a traditional approach to technical analysis.
• Implement technical analysis to successfully profit from day trading.
• Conduct technical analysis on various currency pairs.
• Use technical analysis to prepare an effective trading strategy to estimate the future trend and price of the stocks.
• Analyze price action and identify trends of certain equities in play through the use of technical analysis.
• Utilize charts and technical analysis to predict future price activity to determine bullish or bearish trends.
• Practice technical analysis on a daily basis through the study and interpretation of various charts.
• Trade stocks by using Scalping, Relative Strength and Weakness, and Technical Analysis strategies.
• Stock Analysis, set trading rules and expectations, do technical analysis on the stock.
• Use technical analysis to forecast current and future price movements, leveraging trading software.
• Initiate trades based on technical analysis, as well as event-driven stock catalysts.
• Identify sector movements based on news, technical analysis, and market factors.
• Develop complex Technical Analysis Strategies to gain an edge in the market.
• Watch for technical analysis as these patterns tend to repeat themselves.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
• Relevant college degree preferably with financial or investment qualification or certification
• Should have strong financial / Investment knowledge
• Have a minimum 5 years’ experience in daily international trading market in US, Europe & Far-East Stock market
• Should be flexible with working hours
• Strong research experience
• Have experience in dealing with senior managers
• Able to work in a startup desk with limited resources
• Have experience in doing the analysis and execution of deals
• Strong experience in using Excel
• Willing to be based in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi
