Inventory Controller

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller to join our dynamic freight forwarding team in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage inventory accuracy, optimize stock levels, and ensure smooth logistics operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for incoming and outgoing freight.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely stock replenishment and dispatch.
- Perform regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to track stock availability and deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding freight and inventory management.

- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding industry and supply chain processes is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 4,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
