Inventory Manager

Based Dubai, UAE c £50k to c £60k pa/c 19k – c 23k AED per month tax free, car allowance, bonus, housing allowance and benefits
A highly creative, entrepreneurial and agile organisation, our client is a dynamic best in class distributor of a range of products across multiple brands and channels to market within the bathroom sector. Growth of new customers, geographies and brand development is high on the agenda and as such, this is an exciting time to be joining this dynamic organisation. As such, we are looking to appoint a high calibre Inventory Manager who can drive significant change within this progressive forward thinking organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Outstanding opportunity to lead best in class Inventory Management activities whilst experiencing a once in a lifetime opportunity within a dynamic multicultural city renowned for superb infrastructure, schooling, safety, great cuisine – Dubai really has something for everyone!
• To formulate and implement plans to develop an effective Inventory Management function that is flexible and capable of supporting ongoing growth within the organisation.
• Responsible for managing inventory levels across the Group, ensuring appropriate levels are achieved across the entire product portfolio and are in line with the customer proposition.
• Ownership for highlighting stock outs on key product lines and tackling subsequent supplier resolution activities.
• Product sales analysis and implementation of appropriate stock classification techniques with a focus on obsolete and slow moving items.
• Raise the profile of the Inventory function, creating a culture where it can deliver both internally and externally.
• Play an integral part in the new product development process in order to prepare appropriate stock parameters for all new product ranges.

• This new role demands an outstanding inventory/supply chain professional who enjoys a growth agenda and a highly visible and creative role.
• Of graduate calibre, you will have an outstanding track record in Inventory Management gained within a best in class distribution and/or manufacturing environment. Alternatively, your experience may be gained in broader purchasing/procurement/supply chain activities, albeit naturally you will have had significant inventory and demand planning experience.
• As such, your expertise is likely to have been gained within the bathroom/kitchen, plumbing, furniture, lighting, flooring, consumer goods or similar world class sectors.
• Customer focused, analytical and results orientated in equal measure, you will be a high impact, energetic and passionate individual who is looking to develop their career in a progressive organisation, where outstanding opportunities exist for high performers.

Salary:
GBP 4,000 to 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
