Charterhouse is working with a high profile sovereign wealth fund that is looking to hire a mid-level 4 – 6 pqe UK or US qualified investment funds lawyer to join its legal team in Abu Dhabi. A rare opportunity to join a high profile organisation in an interesting role.
The role will involve working closely with the general counsel, legal team and broader business / stakeholders, in relation to institutions investment and asset management activities. The role will involve working with big name private equity funds, real estate funds, secondaries and alternative investments on a global scale.
This legal team work closely with the investment team in relation to a range of asset classes on big ticket investments. Therefore, the opportunity for a lawyer to gain this type of exposure on deals is very unlikely in many organisations.
Requirements
The institution is interested in hiring a UK or US qualified funds lawyer with c. 4 – 6 pqe for the role. The candidate should come from a legal directories ranked law firm background and / or with in-house experience gained at a major financial institution. There is an interest in candidates already in the UAE or open to relocating from London or other leading financial markets.
