Job description / Role
Our client, an investment company is looking for an Investment Research Specialist who will be responsible for providing investment analysis and evaluation on any new investments, projects and opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducting due diligence on potential and existing investments, which involves performing detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses
• Preparation of exhaustive financial models, research reports related to projects under consideration by & Investments
• Maintaining relationships with internal and external counterparts, advisors and industry experts
• Analyzing trends in the markets, industry and macro-environment
• Preparation of periodic research summaries for senior management and executing special ongoing projects and other duties as required within the company
• Maintaining well-organized records for projects and studies undertaken
• Managing and prioritizing multiple projects concurrently
• Liaising with many internal and external parties to work on a project
Requirements
• Strong Investment analysis, financial modelling and accounting
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products ( Excel, PPT, Word)
• Working knowledge on financial databases like Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters or similar software
• Ability to independently plan, prioritize and execute tasks to manage projects and achieve objectives
• Master’s degree in Finance or MBA
• CFA Level 2
• Experience in Financial Modeling, Investment analysis, Valuation, conducting research
• Three to five years of experience in investment field
• Analyst level experience in private equity or investment banking
