Apt Resources is looking for a talented irrigation technician to join our client's agriculture team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems that support various agricultural projects. Your expertise will help ensure optimal water use efficiency, contributing to sustainable agricultural practices and healthy crop production.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair various types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and sub-surface irrigation.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure irrigation systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation issues, providing timely repairs and solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and any necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with agricultural teams to design and implement irrigation solutions tailored to specific crop needs.
• Ensure compliance with local irrigation regulations and best practices for water conservation.
• Assist in training staff on proper irrigation techniques and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of irrigation work performed and materials used.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in irrigation or a related field are a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in irrigation installation and maintenance, preferably in agricultural settings.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks effectively.

Benefits

The salary is AED 3,000 - 5,000 plus accommodation, food, and other benefits as per UAE labor law.
