IT Analyst - EMC Networker

Job description / Role

We are looking for an IT Analyst to implement and maintenance cost-efficient IT systems. In this role, you should highly analytical and able to understand business needs. Excellent english communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities
• Install, configure, maintain, administer, and migrate servers within a Windows environment.
• Proactively and reactively ensure and monitor Windows server reliability and continuity. Ability to address and resolve information technology issues promptly, effectively and independently
• Maintain and service infrastructure software such as EMC Networker and MS SQL
• Implement different backup strategies for IT systems based on EMC Networker / Monitor and ensure data back up and recover
• Monitor database system details within the database, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Perform database transaction and security audits
• Oracle DBA can be a plus

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 18,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• 3-5 years supporting Windows server operating systems
• Proficiency installing and administering of Microsoft Server (2008,2012,2016)
• MS Hyper-V / VMM experience
• SQL Server Experience (2012 +) and working knowledge of SQL Server database environments
• Backup strategies based on EMC Networker Application
• Knowledge of SQL databases, system security and troubleshooting
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
• Highly self motivated and directed
• Strong customer / business service orientation
• Experience working in a virtual team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Nice to have : Oracle DBA skills
