IT Application Specialist - Kotlin

Job description / Role

Our client, an international firm servicing various companies within the engineering and construction sectors, is currently looking for an IT Application Specialist - Kotlin to join their team in Dubai.  In this role, you will have the responsibility to  develop, test, install and support new and existing mobile applications. Reporting to Regional IT Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities

·         Develop and support various Riwal Mobile Apps
·         Implement operational solutions in the different countries
·         Provide third line support
·         Test and document new functionalities
·         Cooperate with IT and our (internal) customers

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

·         Bachelor’s degree in the field of App development or similar
·         Minimum 5-years experience in design, development, test and implementation of mobile applications in Android / iOS platforms
·         Experience in working in DevOps teams
·         Extensive experience with Agile development
·         Experience with development of apps in Android - Kotlin
·         Knowledge in iOS development (Swift) is an added advantage
·         Experience with Jquery, Node.js
·         Experience with connecting systems using web services (like RESTful APIs)
·         Excellent language skills in English (written and spoken)
·         Accurate and structured worker
·         Ability to work independently
·    Willing to work in a rapidly changing environment
