IT Business Partner - Shipping

Job description / Role

Focus of the IT Business Partner is to make sure that all decision makers related to the field within the group have the right processes and consistent, accurate and transparent information to enable fact based decision-making, by bringing data together from various companies and making it easily accessible for daily operations and decision-makers through acquisition, organisation, analysis and consumption of information. The job includes both Project and BAU budgeting.

Description
• Build relationships within the organization.
• Develop overall knowledge of Finance & different Operations.
• Drive Process Automatization and efficiency enhancement.
• Understand the relation between Business needs and the capabilities of the IT Department to deliver.
• Help the TBM Team transforming IT into a tool of developing and executing the business.
• Focus on coaching the business to decide and prioritize (together with TBM) which efforts wants to pursue following the resource availability.
• Budget management for Projects and IT BAU.
• Start, run and manage IT Councils assessments.
• Act as TBM SME of Shipping.
• Technology Business for Shipping within the Group.
• Skillful problem solving together with the Business Units.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate Shipping with other Operational and Business systems.
• Act as TBM SME of Business Processes specific to different Shipping areas.
• Develop and follow up on metrics and Reports.
• Analyse the financial impact of proposed Process & IT solutions for Shipping.
• Comply with the Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Policy and HSSE Manual procedures respecting industrial and personal safety and environmental precautions, always giving consideration to the safety of yourself and others.

Requirements

An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in computer science, engineering, business management or a related field. Or similar knowledge.

• Decision making & Negotiation skills.
• Assumes responsibility for solving problems.
• Overall understanding of IT (Architecture, Development, Infrastructure)
• Ms Visio or similar for Business Process Mapping
• Communicate effectively across all levels, engaging and inspiring at senior levels internally and externally.
• Cultural awareness within a multi-cultural Corporate environment
• Good English spoken language skills are essential.
• 7 years related working experience with at least 2 years on a Management position.
