Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Responsible for the continuous assessment of data. Ensuring the assessment criteria are according to the National Curriculum and to the syllabuses (IGCSE/ AS/ IAL). Data are gathered to be ready for the end of term reports and student performances are tracked accordingly.
• Responsible for running the school management systems (iSAMS) and the running of all its internal modules.
• Working closely with the Examination officer with setting up the internal and external exams on iSAMS, the right marks have been inputted by the teachers and advance communication take place with the candidates and the parents.
• Responsible for the creation from start to finish of the whole school reports and supporting the coordinators with the final checks before the reports being circulated to the parents.
• Working closely with the HR manager, ensuring all data are correctly registered on iSAMS and SOS contacts are updated.
• Working closely with school nurse to ensure the allergy information is updated on iSAMS so the children can be easily identified.
• Working closely with the bus supervisor to ensure the bus routes are updated on iSAMS.
• Work together with the Registrar, supporting admissions for the next academic year and ensuring all the pupil data are accurate and updated on iSAMS.
• Responsible for the parent portal and the content of the portal.
• Responsible for the running of the parent app and the content of the app.
• Responsible for the running of the school intranet and the content of the intranet.
• Responsible for the global calendar of the school (internal and external).
• Responsible for the website and the content of the website.
• Responsible for any assessment software that will be implemented by the school in the next academic year.
• Help grade leaders and teachers in analysing the attendance performance of their students.
• Weekly publication of the whole school newsletter, home learning, weekly planner, lunch menu and other relevant information that need to be communicated to parents.
• IT Strategy Development for the future.

Requirements

• Female
• A Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent
• Strong IT background in data analysis.
• Experienced in running management information systems (MIS) in particular iSAMS.
• Strong knowledge in HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge is SQL and SSRS would be advantageous.
• Experienced in running software based assessment systems such as Classroom Monitor, GL Assessment and TIMSS.
• Holding an ADEC licence is beneficial
• Possess valid reference or police checks.
