Job description / Role
The Head of IT reporting into the COO will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT function of the company and helping them structure and help transform the Information Technology department depart in order to meet their strategic goals.

We are working with an organisation in the UAE that provides financial services solutions to institutions and high net worth individuals across the GCC and MENA regions. With a vision to expand in the Middle East and North Africa region, our client is looking for a senior IT professional to join their team to help transform their IT strategy.
Description
* Lead all IT operations and new developments in line with company set goals and strategies and manage and coach team to become exceptional performers.
* Develop and enforce policies, procedures, duties and responsibilities in order to enhance credibility, security and confidentiality of accessing, viewing and dealing with sensitive data in accordance with international best practice and acceptable common standards.
* Develop and constantly review, modify and enforce departmental operating procedures including rights and change management.
* Enable and maintain top-notch technology to support business continuity and ensure uninterrupted business critical systems.
* Provide necessary technical analysis and recommendations for company initiatives.

Requirements
* 360 degree knowledge of all IT operations
* Proven track record in managing teams, executing strategies and delivering results.
* Advanced knowledge of financial services IT environments.
* Minimum experience of 15 years in senior managerial roles in IT.
* Bachelor/Engineering degree in IT
