Position Title: IT Engineer
Employment Type: 1-year contract (renewable)

About the Client:
A leading oil and gas company in UAE
Job Description:
• Responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP and IP telephony
• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
• Investigating faults in the network and assist the IT team to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Assist in administrating AD domain, file servers and VMware vSphere
• Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
• Experience in 365 admin center and help users with its applications
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and arrange scheduled upgrades plans
• Write technical training manuals and assist with onboarding of new users.
• Work on deploying security solution and patches on devices and servers
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Male, 45 years and below
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology
• Should have at least 8 years of working experience in Oil and Gas industry
• Experienced in project management skills and ability to manage vendors
• Must have a valid UAE driver’s license
