IT Infrastructure Engineer

We're Hiring: IT Infrastructure Engineer – Abu Dhabi Preferred

Are you passionate about infrastructure, virtualization, and secure IT operations? We're looking for a dedicated and hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team and support our distributed infrastructure across branches.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Server Operations

• Manage and support VMware environments including ESXi, vCenter, and VMware Cloud Foundation
• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability across production environments
• Solid understanding of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) and Private Cloud principles, including architecture, deployment models
• Perform routine system audits, backups, and disaster recovery tests
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure, VPNs, and wireless systems
• Maintain and configure FortiGate firewalls and contribute to overall IT security
• Participate in IT/network design for small and medium business environments as well as enterprise-scale solutions
• Collaborate on infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and migrations
• Maintain technical documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures

Operations, Support & Service Management

• Respond to IT incidents during and outside working hours, including on-site support when required
• Provide remote and on-site end-user support across branches (hardware, software, printers, network)
• Schedule and conduct branch visits for preventive maintenance or support needs
• Handle and resolve issues using a ticketing system; familiarity with ITIL principles is required
• Support IT asset management, procurement, and inventory tracking
• Assist with IT security audits, compliance checks, and policy enforcement
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Network Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure roles
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware and Fortinet products
• Knowledge of SMB and enterprise IT/network architecture
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and structured incident handling
• Willingness to travel and support operations outside of regular hours
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Abu Dhabi residency preferred
