An excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Infrastructure manager to join a leading UAE brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for all the company's IT systems , including hardware, software, and security systems, technical staff and work closely with senior management to propose improvements to the business infrastructure and report progress on various projects. The incumbent will be responsible for making sure that the company's infrastructure and associated systems run smoothly, perform within agreed targets, and provide a secure platform for the company's business operations.

The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the businesses support teams, help the senior leadership team with future budgeting and also dealing with stakeholders up to C level when needed.

You will be accountable for overseeing the Group’s infrastructure services. This is a distributed network across multiple offices. You will also maintain strict access control and security for all Networks at all times and ensuring effective back up procedures and policies are followed to avoid data loss whilst ensuring that the integrity of the network is not compromised from outside sources (eg. Viruses), by putting processes in place and monitoring these.

In addition, you will oversee the distribution and deployment of all new and upgraded applications and infrastructure across the networks as and when required to ensure that all employees as using updated application. If required, you will also travel to new locations to support the installation of new networks and set up the infrastructure for new outlets and offices as required.

Reporting to the Group Head of IT, the incumbent will be responsible for the Management of Servers, Storage and EUC (end user computing) as well as for taking full ownership for the 3rd line support team that delivers infrastructure services across the organization. You will take full ownership and provide end to end support of the security relating directly to the Servers, Storage and EUC Services as well as own the Cloud delivery performance. As well as balancing support, projects and small change work across the server, storage and EUC, the incumbent will be expected to provide support to the team and preform line management activities for his/hers team members and you will identify and implement service center and comparable charge-back systems to align technology benefits with delivered services to clients. You will be responsible for Vendor Selection & Management , Contract negotiations - Manage the selection of and oversee implementation by outsourced service providers and vendors as appropriate and you will define, implement and deliver IT service level agreements(SLA) with appropriate support/tracking systems. You will manage all service levels maintaining the Service Catalogue and reaching binding agreements for internal and external Service Performances along with the development, implementation and management of business aligned IT services and service level management.

In addition, you will identify, develop, implement and monitor agreed KPIs- Ensure the adequate provision of internal IT Services is secured via Operational Level Agreements and Underpinning Contracts (OLAs/ UCs). Monitor and report on service delivery metrics and overall performance. You will be responsible for availability management - sustaining the availability of the IT infrastructure in order to meet the agreed Service Levels defined in SLAs and capacity management - supporting the optimum and cost effective provision of IT Services by helping IT Organizations match their IT Resources (Software, Hardware, Human Resources) to the business needs. Estimations of future demand.

As owner of IT Service Continuity Management, you will defines and plan all measures and processes for unpredicted events of disaster and the regular analysis of vulnerabilities, threats and risks represents a basis for suitable precautions. You will provide functional, technical and process leadership and work collaboratively with onshore/offshore IT and business teams whilst maintaining relationships with technical teams, IT, and business partners communicating on major service outages/escalations. You will lead the strategic planning and technical oversight of the enterprise systems and IT infrastructure.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a Computer Science degree (BSc) or equivalent from a recognized institution along with Project Management and Service Delivery experience and a Project management certification . You will have experience of Systems Integrations Projects and a minimum of 7+ years' experience in a similar infrastructure manager role or equivalent.

You will have extensive demonstrable Infrastructure Maintenance experience along with a good knowledge of firewalls, routers, proxy servers, Windows servers etc with the relevant Cisco/Microsoft certifications. You will have an excellent knowledge of SQL, Citrix and VMware with a good understanding of Azure and experience of managing teams who work on a variety of projects and BAU work. You will also have a broad understanding of budgets and a good knowledge of SQL, Citrix and VMware.

You will be in charge of ERP Technical support , SharePoint and other In House applications and will have solid experience working across large scale voice and networks estates with a deep technical expertise in the servers, storage and the EUC area.

You must have an excellent working knowledge of ITIL Processes and tools, Microsoft Licensing Management Experience and the following technical skills / knowledge - Exchange 2010, 2013, Windows Server to 2012, Citrix Xen and VSI, VMware esXi, Advanced fail over and DR concept methodologies, IPSEC, SSL, VOIP (SIP) and SQL Server (to 2015)

This individual will have Senior Stakeholder Management experience with strong people management skills and significant experience of managing a team across multiple sites. WIth excellent English communication skills both written and oral, you will be proactive, organised and have a methodical approach to work with excellent communication skills.
