Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Infrastructure Manager will plan, direct and design the company’s IT on-premise and cloud infrastructure while simultaneously managing the IT team responsible for maintaining that infrastructure. The scope includes but not limited to servers, networks, storage, backup, VMware, Office 365.

Main job responsibilities include,

• Oversee and own the responsibility of the infrastructure department including support, routine system updates, and installing entirely new systems.
• Collect data including capacity management, performance metrics, service levels, server status, and both planned and unplanned system outages. The IT Infrastructure Manager will need to report the data to Head of ICT on frequent basis.
• Accountable for the availability of ICT infrastructure, and for addressing all the risks of the department.
• Manage the tracking of all infrastructure assets.
• Implement and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Stay up to date with trends and emerging technologies to support innovation.
• Prepare ICT infrastructure strategy to align the ICT Department with the company’s overall strategy.
• Participate in annual ICT budgets.
• Manage and monitor vendors performance against their agreed SLA’s and contractual services.
• Manage the lifecycle of infrastructure licenses.
• Responsible for maintaining DR sites.

Requirements

The candidate must have good understanding of the following,

• HPE infrastructure
• VMWare
• Microsoft Licensing
• Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Microsoft infrastructure (SCCM, SCOM, AD, DHCP,PKI, Fileserver)
• Office365 (Exchange Online, Sharepoint,Skype4B, OneDrive, etc.)
• AWS Cloud (incl. website hosting)
• Veeam Backup.
• Kaspersky antivirus.
• Solar winds.
• F5 Big IP
• SonicWall Firewall.
• HP/Aruba switches, controllers, and wireless infrastructure.
