IT Manager - Cards Platforms

Job description / Role

Quest Search & Selection is working with a notable bank who is currently looking for an IT Manager with Cards Platforms experience.

We have an exciting job opportunity for UAE Nationals, a chance to be part of a reputable business based in Dubai. You will be responsible for managing daily activities and all projects/programs related to Cards Platforms (HPS and other peripheral card applications).

As an IT Manager - Cards Platforms, your responsibilities will include:

* Responsible for managing daily activities and all projects/programs related to Cards Platforms.
* To ensure and maintain service levels related to Card Systems.
* Provide assistance to the IT Project manager(s) to ensure the execution of projects within agreed time and cost Parameters and manage Card Applications related activities of the projects/programs.
* Manages a program of multiple inter-dependent projects
* Review user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity and work closely with vendors to track the life cycle of problem and incident management.
* Cooperating with internal and external clients to identify activities, rule dependencies, identify/assign specific resources.
* Provide support in problem management of production problems of Card Applications / Systems and associated sub systems.
* Keep abreast with the industry practices and standards related to Card Applications and recommend enhancements and changes based on the industry practices.

Requirements

Requirements for an Ideal Candidate:

* UAE nationality
* Degree in engineering (specialization in computer applications) is a must and master degree in computer science is preferable
* Technical knowledge in card management (card applications)
* Knowledge of the Enterprise Project Management methodology
* Effective communication, problem solving/incident management and presentation skills
* Experience in working with onsite/offshore model
* Understanding of infrastructure development and technology planning
* IT solutions, systems and service management in banking/finance/telecom sector
