Job description / Role
On behalf of our client, a top investment company, Swisslinx Executive Search is looking to source an IT Operations and Support Engineer - Level 3 IT support. This role reports into the IT Manager.
Reporting directly to the IT Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Maintaining full technology infrastructure (including servers, PCs, storage, remote access, networking maintenance, support, etc).
• Responsible for configuration, checking, and overall support
• Provide 3rd level support for helpdesk team
• Work closely with IT Manager on planning and implementation
Please note that this is NOT a junior role. It requires 8 to 10 years of experience minimum.
Requirements
• 8+ years of professional experience in IT; excellent experience in network administration, PC applications, etc.
• Strong experience with providing 3rd level support
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies
• Project management
Preference will be given to candidates coming from a finance or banking background, as well as those based in Abu Dhabi.
