• Global transport business with large middle east presence
Description
• The position will be based in Dubai, however the scope will cover support to ME & Africa region which includes 5 -10 % traveling
• Experience of defining selection criteria for new technology and of evaluating new technology against defined criteria
• Creative thinker with experience of developing innovative/robust & workable solutions to technology services requirements within acceptable parameters (cost, time, resource etc)
• Good judgement & reasoning skills with the ability to evaluate diverse business requirements & technical factors to determine priorities/actions
• Good commercial judgement with experience of developing robust & cost-effective technical recommendations/ solutions to support business requirements
• Excellent project management skills with experience of leading complex technical projects.
• Excellent understanding of vendor management practices eg procurement terms and conditions, service level agreements etc with experience of vendor management
• Self-reliant/self-driven, ability to work independently under pressure, multitask, be intuitive & discreet

Requirements
• CCNP, Prince 2 or PMP, ITIL, MCSE with more than 7 years + industry experience and Valid UAE license.
• Cisco technology and related network equipment configuration
• Servers and desktops peripheral hardware, operating systems & management
• Thorough understanding of network technologies ( Voice & Data)
• LAN & WAN configuration and troubleshooting
