IT Product Owner

Job description / Role

IT Product Owner role with a leading global bank based in Dubai. Responsible for technical development and operations of products and services with retail banking and card services.

International candidates with retail banking technology system experience are encouraged to apply. Relocation benefits will be provided.

Responsibilities:

* Act as the IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) for retail domain and provide technical consultancy services to business teams covering credit systems. This is to ensure that the most efficient and cost-effective solutions are presented to business
* Work with Product Owners and DevOps teams, and responsible for the delivery, on-going success & continuous improvement of the products, services and business services
* Accountable with the Head of Product / Product lead to review requirements from a viability perspective and formulate the non-functional strategy
* Ensure that work is de-constructed and translated into development activities across teams
* Work with team to ensure that the lead time to deploy changes is continuously improving and benchmarks appropriately across other functions within the DevOps team

Requirements

Requirements:

* Sound knowledge in retail banking systems
* 10 years' experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
* Strong people leadership, team work, gathering information and analysing, judgement and decision-making skills
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills; ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to a wide and varied audiences
